Kyle Miceli ("I" or "me") respects the privacy of the people who play my games. This Privacy Policy explains what information my mobile applications (the "Apps") and this website collect, how that information is used, and who it is shared with.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Apps.
I may change this Privacy Policy at any time. When I do, I will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. By continuing to use the Apps after a change is posted, you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the App Store or Google Play, where you download the Apps and make payments. Apple and Google collect and use information under their own privacy policies.
Apps covered by this policy
This Privacy Policy covers PolyFootball (iPhone, iPad and Android), Idle Electric Vehicle Tycoon, Idle Space Tourism Tycoon, Idle Space Company Tycoon, Electric Vehicle Tycoon and Clicky Cow, and the website kylemiceli.com.
Collection of your information
You do not need an account to play the Apps, and the Apps never ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos or location. Your saved games, settings, ticket balance and a record of your purchases are stored on your device. Deleting an App deletes this information.
PolyFootball's online features
When you are online, PolyFootball's main menu creates a random player ID for you, gives you a friend code for Refer a Friend, and checks for referral rewards and for this week's tournament. The player ID has no name or email address attached. This information is stored with Supabase, the service that runs these features. Like any server, Supabase also receives your IP address.
For Refer a Friend, PolyFootball stores your friend code, how many friends have used it, which friend's code you entered, the tickets you are owed, and the time of your last attempt, which helps prevent spam. The Share button opens your device's own share sheet, and PolyFootball does not see who you share with.
If you enter a Saturday tournament, PolyFootball stores a device ID so that each device can enter once a week, and checks it against a list of devices blocked for cheating. It also stores a random tournament name the game gives you (such as "GridironHuddle42"), your team's abbreviation, a short line about the save you entered with (for Franchise, the year and record; for Career, your player's name, position and rating), your check-in time, your bracket, the scores reported and any prizes.
When you play an online game, your plays, your team and its win-loss record are sent through Photon's servers in the United States. This lets the other player's device show the game and helps match you with a fair opponent. Photon also receives your IP address.
When you host an online game that others are allowed to watch, PolyFootball lists it in Live Games with both teams' names and records, the score, the quarter and the number of viewers. Spectators can send preset emotes. The listing is deleted when the game ends, or after 10 minutes without an update.
Referral, tournament and Live Games information travels over encrypted connections, and access rules on the server limit who can read it.
Third-Party Advertisers
PolyFootball has optional video ads that you can choose to watch for tickets. They are provided through Unity LevelPlay (formerly ironSource), which can fill them from Unity Ads and other ad networks. Banner ads are turned off. To show ads, count them and prevent fraud, these companies may collect information about your device, such as its model, operating system, language and IP address, an identifier for the App on your device, and whether you watched or tapped an ad.
PolyFootball tells its ad partners that you have not agreed to personalized ads. On iPhone and iPad, PolyFootball never asks to track you, so ad partners cannot read your device's advertising identifier. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's settings.
Idle Electric Vehicle Tycoon, Idle Space Tourism Tycoon, Idle Space Company Tycoon and Electric Vehicle Tycoon show ads through Unity Ads. Clicky Cow shows ads through Google AdMob and uses Unity Analytics to measure how the game is played. These companies may collect the same kinds of device information. None of these games have accounts or online play.
Purchases
In-app purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google processes the payment, and I never see your card or account details. The App receives a confirmation so it can unlock what you bought, and keeps a record of it on your device.
Use and sharing of your information
I use this information only to run the Apps' features: matching online games, running tournaments, paying out referral and tournament rewards, and stopping cheating, for example by blocking a device from tournaments. The other player in an online game sees your team and its record. Players in a tournament see each other's tournament names, teams and results. Anyone playing PolyFootball can see the games listed in Live Games.
I do not sell your information. I do not share it with anyone other than the services named in this Privacy Policy, unless the law requires it.
Retention of your information
Live Games listings are deleted when the game ends. Referral and tournament records are kept while those features run, so that rewards and results stay correct. Ad and multiplayer services keep information under their own privacy policies.
Your choices and rights
Watching ads, playing online and entering tournaments are all optional. To have your referral and tournament records deleted, email me your friend code (shown in Refer a Friend) or your tournament name so I can find them. Depending on where you live, such as the European Union, the United Kingdom or California, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information. Email me and I will help.
Children
The Apps are made for a general audience and do not ask anyone for their age, name or email address. If you are a parent and believe your child's information is in my records, email me and I will delete it.
This website
kylemiceli.com does not use cookies, analytics or ads. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address. The web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages visited, to run the site.
Third-party privacy policies
These companies' own policies explain how they handle information: Unity (LevelPlay, Unity Ads, Unity Analytics and purchases), Photon (online games), Supabase (player ID, Refer a Friend, tournaments and Live Games), Google (AdMob, Google Play and Google Fonts) and Apple (App Store).
