Hello! I'm Kyle Miceli, since the age of 13, I've been fascinated by the world of game development, a passion that led me to design and publish games on the Apple App Store. This early venture into programming not only honed my technical skills but also ignited my interest in the broader aspects of technology.
I graduated Cum Laude from Penn State with a Bachelor of Science in Information Science and Technology in 2023. In this portfolio, you'll discover a showcase of games I started making back when I was 13, up until about the age of 18.
I invite you to explore my work and see how I've developed my programming skills and how past personal experiences can bring value to corporate projects and initiatives.
Thank you for visiting, and I look forward to connecting with you!

Notable Projects
Snappy Gator
Published: 2014 Link: No longer on the app store. Description: Created when I was 13, this was the first game I created, and published by following several YouTube tutorials. It was created based on the popular game at the time, Flappy Bird. Clicky Cow
Published: 2019 Link: https://apps.apple.com/bn/app/clicky-cow/id1481530136 Description: Developed when I was 18, this was the first game I created after having not published a game for several years. With a similar concept to the game Crossy Roads, I created this game to build knowledge on procedural generation of gameplay, create a raffle-based system to unlock new characters, and support memory cleanup. Electric Vehicle Tycoon
Published: 2020 Link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/electric-vehicle-tycoon/id1528199203 Description: Published when I turned 20, this was a new take on tycoon-like games. I set out to create a management type game that allowed for players to manufacture vehicles, grow their customer base, and also watch in real time as vehicles on the road were replaced with their own cars. Idle Space Tourism Tycoon
Published: 2022 Link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/idle-space-tourism-tycoon/id1564686301 Description: With each published game, I set out to create a more challenging experience for myself. With this game, I was able to do so. In this game, you manage a resort/hotel on different moons. In order to create dynamic gameplay, I gave visitors a thought process, that would allow them to decide what they would do if they entered the resort. Some would just pay for the room, and leave, while others would pay extra for other amenities. Additionally, I utilized Unity3D's Navmesh, in order to allow the tourists to navigate their way through their environment, without having to hardcode anything. Untitled Multiplayer Project
Work In Progress Description: More details on this project will be provided late 2024. Game is being developed utilizing Unity3D, Blender, and the PUN2 API provided by Photon. |
Where I began. This was my first game, made very similar to a game called Flappy Bird. This game was called Snappy Gator.
At the age of 13, I successfully published this onto the Apple App Store.
This was my first original game, called Cow: Free. I made this about a year after Snappy Gator. The concept was simple, get the cow to the hay. You could pickup logs to make bridges.

How I progressed. This was another project, Electric Vehicle Tycoon.
This is a first for me working with an isometric view, and every model coming from Blender3D.
Clicky Cow, released in 2019 - is similar in concept to Crossy Roads. It included 50+ unlockable cows.
